I'd be interested to know what you guys think about it.<br /><br />In the post, I look at the three Senate classes and point out that we've only got a couple of decent Senate pickup opportunities between now and 2016, so Obama's never again going to be within shouting distance of breaking a GOP filibuster.<br /><br />In other words, unless the Senate Dems get rid of the filibuster, Obama's Presidency is effectively over. Aside from minimizing the damage that the GOP can do, we all might as well sit around and twiddle our thumbs between now and the end of Obama's second term.<br /><br />Anyhow, stop by, comment, and feel free to quote at length over here if you think my argument holds water.
