Wow, that was pretty cool. The Dominican Republic is clearly one of the elite teams in the WBC, along with Japan, Puerto Rico, the United States, and Cuba, so the Dutch win here (their second against the D.R.) is a real shocker. Baseball is built to have a fairly high likelihood of upsets, which is frustrating if you're, say, an Atlanta Braves fan, but it's games like this that make the set-up worthwhile.
