Actually, it's worse than that. The Dems are trying to curl up in a fetal position while simultaneously trying to run for the hills. Fortunately, nothing about that confusion prevents them from pleading, "Please. Don't. Hurt. Me." while trying to do both of those things at once, so they're doing that too.
