No One Could Have Predicted ...

What's that you say? Since being nominated to the Senate, Kirsten Gillibrand has flip-flopped to support gay marriage, said nice things about SUPERTRAIN funding, and now embraces Mayor Bloomberg's fight to keep illegally purchased firearms off the street? Surely no on could have ...

... no, wait, I believe someone did predict this one. Whoever knew that Gillibrand would shift her views to reflect her new constituents' more progressive outlook is one smart cookie.

You were right! And don't forget that I agreed with your prediction, with lots of sexual innuendos.

No, wait, I just read the comment thread on Ezra Klein, and it is clear that what you describe in this post is unpossible ... compared to the State of NY she is a right wing ideologue DINO and will continue to be, and the suggestion that she voted her district before and could well continue to do so as she takes over the "district" of New York State is just an effort to change the subject from what an SOB Paterson is for making the choice.

The theory is so clear and simple and persuasive, I so no reason to throw it over simply on the basis of some crude "facts".
